My name is Sierra Hill, Certified Birth Doula, and Childbirth Educator My passion is to help moms have an empowered and joy-filled birth free from fear! I knew being a doula was what I wanted to do after the birth of my first baby! I had a beautiful water birth at a Birth Center. After her birth, I became passionate about helping couples create beautiful birth stories they would treasure for the rest of their lives. In December 2021, I finally became certified as a birth doula through Birth Boot Camp.
Then in July of 2022, I welcomed my sweet son into the world. My son was born at home and though things did not go exactly as planned it was beautiful and I learned a ton. In February 2023, I founded Graceful Birth Services. It has been one of the greatest adventures of my life. To me being a doula is like finding the missing puzzle piece. I have never had a more fulfilling job in my life. The day I stop tearing up a bit when the baby comes into the world is the day I will stop being a doula I promise.
Just when I thought things couldn’t get any better God had other plans. In the summer of 2023, I came across the Birth Restored Childbirth Education Course. I knew immediately that becoming certified to teach the course was the next step to grow my business. As a Birth Restored Educator, I can combine two of my favorite things (birth and bible study) and help other couples not only be prepared for birth but have the chains of fear the enemy has wrapped around their hearts broken off the ministry of the holy spirit that takes place throughout the course.
A little more about me. I’m a toddler mom so I spend a lot of time playing with my kids and taking them on adventures. After they go to bed I like to hang out with my husband and our friends studying the bible or playing games. Occasionally when I am off call I like to go up to the mountains, go to the Caribbean, and enjoy the ocean. One day I hope to get back to Thailand and find that monkey and have it play with my hair again. That was pretty awesome.
